Production Samples

The production samples showcased here began in the creative process as written pieces that I investigated, conceived and authored. In collaboration with the video team at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, each of my written stories was then produced as a video where I served as the content director and interviewer. The assets were then distributed in a variety of ways; in IUP's daily email newsletter, on the IUP website, on IUP social media channels, and sometimes pitched to news outlets.

IUP TO HARVARD: ONE STUDENT’S PATH

I met Kopchick Fellow, Morgan Glasser, the summer before she began her final year at IUP. I interviewed her for the written story and then for the video. Morgan currently works in a lab at Harvard University.

THE INNOVATORS: MAKING ART WHILE SERVING

Tyler Stanton's passion for art and service to our country in the Army Corp of Engineers was one of the more unique stories I wrote. The corresponding video, which I produced, became the first in a series of videos at IUP titled "The Innovators".

I met Kopchick Fellow and Goldwater Winner, Arie Van Wieren, the summer before his junior year. I interviewed him for the written story and the video was produced later.

Arie's passion for research will hopefully lead to the development of a new antibiotic.

Cynthia Pugh's story about Nanoparticles was the last in IUP's "The Innovators" series. I authored the written piece and wrote and produced the corresponding video. Cynthia's research could potentially change the landscape of how electronics are recycled.
